Your Eye On The Ball And Your Ear To The Crowd: Every Day Is Sunday with Ken Bolson
On today’s episode of Cocktails with Friends we’re taking our eyes off the drinks for a moment, and instead we’re checking out the screen. What better combination than cold beer and an football game is out there?
Well, outside of Bob Cutler and New York Times’ writer Ken Bolson, here to talk about the history and practices of the NFL. Author of the book Every Day Is Sunday, an extensive and journalistic look at the NFL and its process, Ken is doubtlessly an expert on the national, the football, and the League. He walks Bob through the meteoric rise of one of America’s most powerful institutions, and also breaks down the reporter’s techniques he has in his toolkit: one of them being watching what a person drinks. Who knew getting drunk on New York Times’ money could be so helpful?
