Praise for Après: The Triumphant Tale of TailGate

Welcome back to the Après All Day series from Cocktails with Friends, where you can always expect good company and good drinks as well! On this episode, après appraisers Bob Cutler and Rich Stoner are joined by Liz Tarry, the sales and marketing director of TailGate Brewery.

The three crack open cans of TailGate’s Orange Wheat beer, gold winners at the U.S. Open Beer Championship— and champions in the marketplace as well, remaining the brewery’s best-selling beer after all this time. It’s not hard to see why TailGate Brewery ranks consistently among the top ten U.S. Breweries. Tarry explains that the secret isn’t in any marketing trick or hype; the quest for quality above all else is what makes TailGate’s beers so special.

Sorry, not just beers: They’re talking sweet tea, seltzers, and cold brew, too. They’re keeping people over profits, and that means expanding from their brewery roots to the full Après state of mind, and on both sides of the counter as well. The leadership of founder Wes Keegan has led to even more astounding innovations, like the Lager Project… which you’ll just have to tune in to hear about!
