An Illuminating Conversation With Jack Flash

On this episode of Cocktails with Friends, Bob Cutler brings in Jack Flash, a prolific geologist, to answer some questions about the world itself. The ground on which we stand, and from which we grow our grapes, hops, and apples, is only one of Jack’s many avenues of study. An ornithologist, engineer, economist, and marine biologist he may be, but he is first and foremost a dreamer. And through each and every second, these dreams make their golden presence known.

Out of all of the brilliant minds that Bob has brought onto the podcast, Jack is perhaps the most important guest that Cocktails with Friends has ever had, which is saying a lot. The insights that are discussed are not only about the self, but also the relation the self has to the community around them. By the end of the episode, Bob has a chance to reflect on the unbelievable honor that he holds to be in the position he’s in, as both a man, a friend, and a father.

Jack is also in Kindergarten, so no alcohol is in this episode for his sake.
