The Bistro team returns to in person pairing dinners on Tuesday, September 14th with an “Exceptional Cask” pairing; a seven-course dinner paired with a Rare Cask cocktail and at least four pours of extremely allocated whiskey from the The Macallan.
Three of the offerings will be their extremely limited Exceptional Cask series. Each bottle has its own age statement, and every expression is one of fewer than 600 bottles in the world.
2018/ASP-21156/07 – one of 578 bottles in the world
2020/ESB-10935/02 – one of 560 bottles in the world
2020/ESH-12808/01 – one of 288 bottles in the world
In addition to these rare bottles, the team will be showcasing a cask selected by Sir Peter Blake that celebrates the Estate, Community and Distillery of The Macallan.
Joining us in the Bistro for this event will be James D’Arcey. You may remember James as our expert on all things whiskey from several of our virtual events. This will be James’ first visit to Maine, and we can’t wait to welcome him to Bangor to celebrate the return of pairing dinners at the Bistro.
